Team Wendy is an SBA HUBZone certified company.

Wendy Moore loved action sports. She loved life. Wendy died on March 15, 1997 at age 29, as the result of a traumatic head injury sustained while skiing without a helmet. In her honor, her family founded a company with the vision and mission to raise helmet awareness for those who have a passion for action sports like Wendy did, and to engineer improved helmet designs that raise the bar for helmet safety standards.

Launched as a legacy to a loved one, Team Wendy and Zorbium™ Foam have become a call for everyone to re-think helmet safety by asking...
What's inside your helmet?™

“Overprotective and Proud of It!”™
At Team Wendy it’s more than just our slogan. ZAP™(Zorbium™ Action Pads), provide the best protection against blunt force trauma available on the market today. Our pads are manufactured using our patented Zorbium™ foam; a revolutionary visco-elastic foam that provides unmatched energy absorption and impact protection.

You expect a padded helmet to provide comfort and stability. You should also expect it to provide superior protection against blunt force trauma. Nearly a decade ago, the chemists, physicists and engineers at Team Wendy set out to create a new kind of helmet liner; one that would provide the best possible multi-impact protection against head injury. The result – Zorbium™ foam – a patented, energy absorbing advanced material. The cutting edge chemistry and engineering in our pads delivers a foam that reduces the risk of life-threatening injuries during high velocity impacts and concussions during lower velocity impacts. And because Zorbium™ is a visco-elastic foam, it rebounds after impact providing true multi-impact protection.

ZAP™ are the only pads on the market that use a foam specifically designed to provide impact protection in a helmet application. We’re so confident of the superior performance of Zorbium™ foam, that we submitted our ZAP™ pads to rigorous independent testing against the competition. When we beat them against the established standard, we raised the standard and tested our pads in conditions ranging from 0°F to 130°F. And we beat them all again. Why are we so hard on our pads? Because sometimes good enough, just isn’t good enough. You wear your helmet for one reason – protection. So ask yourself, do you want more protection, or less?
