As the director of product development and research collaboration since 2011, Ron manages Team Wendy’s product development initiatives. He also builds partnerships with academic and government research groups, aiming to produce new insights into how traumatic brain injuries (TBI) occur and develop new helmet technologies to help prevent them. Ron joined Team Wendy in 2006 following an engineering co-op with the company, a program he is still involved in with new students participating each year.
Ron is the principal investigator for Team Wendy’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) funded research and development (R&D) initiatives.
