Get Outdoors NYC 2017

Team Wendy traveled to the Big Apple this past week for the 2017 Get Outdoors-NYC event. The event is held by Outdoor Retailer, the largest outdoor gear, apparel, accessories, and technology tradeshow. The event showcased outdoor apparel, gear, footwear, accessories and technology brands’ 2017 spring/summer and fall/winter lines to the consumer media. Media publications from across the spectrum were present at the event, providing companies with the opportunity to introduce their newest products.

Team Wendy used this opportunity to introduce their latest innovation, the M-216™ Ski Search and Rescue Helmet. The M-216 represents a return for the company into the ski market. Team Wendy was able to speak to G Style Magazine, GS Magazine, Parade, Men’s Fitness, and Men’s Journal just to name a few. Besides Team Wendy, other companies that were showcased at the event include SOG Knives, Pelican, ULU Footwear, Zippo, and Drymax technologies; all companies who provide outdoor products ranging from various industries.

Outdoor Retailer also went around and utilized Facebook live to allow each company to introduce their product.  You can view Team Wendy’s video clip below!
Overall the show was a great event for Team Wendy. Outdoor Retailer put on a phenomenal show by creating a comfortable and attentive atmosphere. This was a great opportunity for companies to talk to the media about the latest and greatest outdoor products. Team Wendy is looking forward to attending Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2017, July 26^th-29^th in Salt Lake City!
