I'm Francois Brisson, a firefighter from the province of Quebec, Canada.
For the past few years, I've dedicated myself to the noble art of firefighting, focusing particularly on special operations like technical rescues, confined space rescues, collapse rescues, ocean rescues, ice rescues and swift water rescues. Every day, I'm honored to serve my community and make a difference in people's lives.
Photography and Brand Collaboration
Beyond the flames and the chaos, I find solace behind the lens of my camera. My passion for photography intertwines with my firefighting duties, capturing the raw intensity and human stories within rescue operations and training. Through my lens, I've had the privilege of collaborating with renowned brands worldwide, lending my unique perspective to help them craft compelling visual narratives and innovate their products.
Role as Lieutenant Instructor
In addition to my frontline duties, I'm privileged to serve as the Lieutenant Instructor for the Technical Rescue Unit. It's a role that fills me with pride, knowing that I have the opportunity to mentor and inspire the next generation of rescue professionals. Together, we're shaping a future where every emergency response is executed with precision, compassion, and unwavering dedication.
Balancing the rigors of firefighting with the artistry of photography, I strive to embody humility, resilience, and a deep sense of purpose in everything I do. Whether I'm battling flames, capturing moments of bravery, or sharing my knowledge with eager learners, my mission remains the same: to make a positive impact and leave the world a little better than I found it.
Team Wendy’s mission of providing the best head protection for those that risk their lives every day is very important to me. As professionals, we know that they are really in this business for the right thing - to make us safer. As an end user, I am confident that Team Wendy gear will hold during any type of rescue and if something were to happen to me I would have the best chance of being protected.
