When you’re falling through the sky with your life tethered to your parachute, you want to be able to focus on your mission, not your helmet. The EXFIL® Adapter for the Ops-Core AMP™ Communication Headset is here to help.
Having a mission-ready ballistic helmet or bump helmet means that all of your helmet accessories need to interface seamlessly with your rails. The EXFIL® adapter easily attaches each arm of the Ops-Core AMP headset to our EXFIL® Rail 2.0 or EXFIL® Rail 3.0 accessory mounting system, adding another communication headset to the list of products that Team Wendy’s helmet rails can accommodate.
When we say “easily attaches,” we mean it. The adapters insert into the top of each headset arm and tighten in place with the headset’s existing o-ring, washer and screw. Then the headset installs into the top of the T-Slot in the EXFIL rail. Just like that, your AMP headset integrates securely with your Team Wendy helmet and is ready to go wherever your mission takes you.
Most notably, our AMP headset adapter was thoughtfully engineered with breakaway functionality to support airborne operation safety. A press fit design – rather than a hard mount – allows the adapter to separate from the rail more easily when enough pressure is applied during an emergency. In contrast, a hard-mounted adapter can only be forcibly removed if the adapter or the rail were to break. Rest assured; our adapter is still strong enough to prohibit easy removal of the headset arms during everyday use.
