Team Wendy is Huge Down Under!

Team Wendy is Huge Down Under! Well maybe not huge but this year we started supplying the Australian Defense Force with the EXFIL® Ballistic as the standard issued ballistic helmet for the Australian Army.

Earlier this month, Team Wendy took a trip to Australia and joined our in-country distributor, Aquaterro, at Land Forces 2016 in Adelaide, South Australia. Land Forces is the premier exhibition and leading land defense forum for Australia and the Indo-Pacific region. We had the opportunity to meet with representatives and partners from Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and further regions such as South America and the Middle East. We also took the opportunity to meet with customers and agencies throughout the country.

During our travels we had the chance to visit great sites like Sydney’s Bondi Beach, the capitol in Canberra and a number of surf spots along the Sunshine Coast.

Our gracious hosts from Aquaterro gave us the opportunity to experience Australia’s renowned wildlife up close and personal. While the spiders made attempts to keep us up at night, the early spring temperatures kept the snakes at bay.

The trip was a great chance to visit a beautiful country filled with friendly people and great customers. We are already looking forward to Land Forces 2018.
