For ecommerce customers, we only ship to US addresses and APOs. We do not ship to freight forwarders or PO boxes.

SAR Tactical comes with a Wilcox machined aluminum NVG insert while the Backcountry comes with the plastic reinforced insert. With the SAR Tactical you can confidently attach your NVGs on the front shroud whereas the backcountry is meant for lights, action cameras, etc.
The SAR Tactical comes with a chin cup retention which we recommend if attaching NVG’s to the shroud and for swift water rescue situations. The SAR Backcountry comes with a sports style retention, think bicycle retention.
With annual thorough check ups of all hardware and nothing visibly broken, the SAR can easily last 7-10 years.

The SAR was designed to meet a wide variety of protection standards relevant to search and rescue operations, but since it is not intended for structural firefighting, it can provide more ventilation, a lighter weight, and other protective capabilities not covered by NFPA

All of our liner system pads (CloudLine®, EPIC Air®, EPIC® and ZAP™) can be removed and hand washed with a mild soap. Allow pads to air dry completely before reinstalling. Do not wash in a washing machine.
All of our liner systems will fit the Ops-Core FAST helmet, but typically require replacing the FAST retention system (chinstrap) as well, because it is integrated with the FAST liner. We recommend the CloudLine® System or EPIC Air® Liner System and CAM FIT™ Retention System . Most customers prefer this combination in the FAST shell.
Team Wendy's EPIC Air® Liner System and ZAP™ Liner Systems will fit a Crye Airframe™ helmet.
No. The liners and retention systems in all Team Wendy EXFIL® helmets are integrated, and cannot be replaced in the field. If your chin strap on a Team Wendy helmet needs to be replaced, please email us at info@teamwendy.com or call 216.738.2518.
Yes, we currently offer an LED (left eye dominant) option on the EXFIL® Ballistic SL and EXFIL® Ballistic helmets, as well as on our CAM FIT™ Retention System
Yes, we make a CAM FIT™ Retention System that is compatible with most common shell types, including the following: ACH/MICH, FAST, AirFrame™, USMC LWH and PASGT. See our retention systems page for sizing information.
Yes, our retention systems fit the Ops-Core FAST helmets; however, the ballistic-rated hardware included in our CAM FIT™ and CAM FIT™ H-Back Retention Systems is not long enough to go through both the rail and shell. We recommend saving the hardware from the original Ops-Core system and using it to install the Team Wendy retention or purchasing the CAM FIT™ ARC Rail Hardware Kit.
