Anson "Nubgunner" Roberts
Anson “NubGunner” Roberts is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and Purple Heart recipient whose story reflects resilience and perseverance. In 2007, while deployed in Iraq, his vehicle was struck by a massive IED during a complex ambush, leaving him with severe burn injuries and the loss of most of his fingers. After months of recovery, Anson refused to be defined by his injuries, earning a degree from The Ohio State University and building a life centered on family, service, and adventure.
Andrew "Fifty Shades of FDE"
Andrew is an active Law Enforcement Officer for a large agency in California, with over 17 years of service. He creates gun and gear reviews on Instagram, YouTube, and multiple publications to help educate law-abiding citizens and fellow Law Enforcement Officers on important products that are potentially lifesaving. His goal is to share his years of personal experience to help others find the best gear suited for their own preferences.
Francois Brisson
Francois Brisson is a Lieutenant Instructor and firefighter, who proudly serves as an ambassador for Team Wendy Helmets. A true Swiss knife in the field, he specializes in high-angle rescue, swift water, collapse, ocean rescue, confined space operations, and more. He has spent his career training, teaching, and responding — always pushing limits to protect and serve. Outside the uniform, he is a passionate photographer, capturing the raw moments of rescue and adventure. Whether he is hanging from a cliff, diving into turbulent waters, or trekking the globe, he lives to blend his love for extreme sports, storytelling, and human connection.
