Team Wendy® ZAP™ Airborne Pad
A lightweight add-on pad worn at the helmet’s nape during airborne ops, designed to reduce impact forces and enhance protection when used with standard ZAP™ liner systems.
- Designed to be worn in conjunction with standard ZAP™ sets (7-Pad NSN and SOF configurations)
- Placed at the nape of the helmet during airborne operations
- Provides additional impact protection to the nape area of the skull by reducing peak G’s experienced during high-speed impacts
- Weighs less than 3/4 of an ounce
- Exceeds the ACH blunt impact requirements (AR/PD 10-02)*
* Performance is based on testing in ACH shells. Results vary by shell type and manufacturer.
