  • Does Team Wendy sell internationally?

    We do not sell our products directly to international customers, but Team Wendy products are available through our dealer network in most countries worldwide.     How do I become a dealer for Team Wendy products?

    Contact us at info[at]teamwendy[dot]com with your information and we will send you a dealer application to complete for consideration.

    How do I sign up for a new account?

    As we’ve moved to a new ecommerce system to serve you better, we invite you to create a new user name and password to order, check out, save order history and order the best in headborne systems. Any prior credentials used for ordering in the past will NOT be accepted, but you can always check out as a guest. Click here to sign up!

    Does Team Wendy have a T&E or Demo Program?

    If your agency or group wants to T&E a Team Wendy product, please email us at info[at]teamwendy[dot]com or call 216.738.2518 for details on our current T&E Program.

    Does Team Wendy offer a military or law enforcement discount?

    Yes, we offer a 20% discount upon request. To receive the discount, please email info[at]teamwendy[dot]com with a copy of your MIL, LE or SAR credentials. You will then be sent a discount code to use at order checkout.

    Does Team Wendy retrofit umpire chest protectors?

    No, this program was discontinued March 1, 2016. Due to the evolution of our business, we are no longer able to dedicate the time and proper resources to this program.

    Does Team Wendy retrofit umpire shin guards?

    No. This program was discontinued in 2014.

    Does Team Wendy still make padding for umpire face masks?

    Yes, you can purchase these pads through the following authorized distributors: 1 Stop Sports, All Sports Officials, Honig's Whistle Stop, Hudson 51 Official Wear, The Officials Outlet, Purchase Officials Supplies, The Sports Loft and UMP Attire.

    Does Team Wendy Comply with California Proposition 65 (Prop 65)?

    Yes, at Team Wendy we use the Prop 65 short form warning on product packaging and on our website. We also request notification of Prop 65 chemicals on all purchase orders from suppliers.

    Please note that the warning does not mean our products will cause cancer or reproductive harm. Prop 65 may be best defined as a “Right to Know” law, and Prop 65 warnings are not an indication that a product is violating safety standards or regulations. View our Prop 65 Policy Statement.
  • What types of payment are accepted when making an online purchase?

    At this time online purchases can only be made through your PayPal account or with a valid credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX and Discover.

    Do you accept Debit Cards for online purchases?

    Yes.  Debit cards that are backed by either Visa or Mastercard are accepted.

    Can I use my credit card gift card to purchase Team Wendy products?

    Yes.  You must make sure that you activated/registered the card to make online purchases.  If you have additional questions you should contact the number on the back of your card.

    I want to purchase with a government issued credit card, how do I do that?

    You should be able to place your order on our website.  If it is declined it may be due to how your government credit card is coded.  If you are having issues, please contact info[at]teamwendy[dot]com for further assistance.

    I have an APO/FPO/DPO address, how do I place an order?

    Our website will accept orders that have an APO/FPO/DPO address.  When you checkout, enter your shipping address information as follows:
    • Enter your full name 
    • Enter your grade, unit or box number
    • Use the second address line for additional information if needed.
             Example:
             142nd MP Co
             Unit 15254, Box 367
    • City must be entered as "APO",  "FPO" or "DPO"
    • State must be selected as "AA" "AE" or "AP"
    • Zip code must be 5 digits, or use a dash if entering as zip+4
    • Country must be "United States"
    • Shipping method for APO, FPO or DPO addresses is USPS Priority Mail Military

    I live in a U.S. territory and I want to place an order but am not able to do so on the website, what do I do?

    Our website is unable to process orders from U.S. territories at this time.  Please email us at info[at]teamwendy[dot]com and we will assist you with your order.

    I’ve been trying to place an online order and my credit card keeps getting declined. What am I doing wrong?

    The most common reason for an order being declined is address verification mismatch. Ensure that the billing address you enter for your order exactly matches the address that the credit card is billed to.

    What shipping options can I choose from when ordering?

    You can select from UPS, FedEx or USPS.  Please note that if you select UPS or FedEX you cannot use a P.O. Box for your address, you need an actual street address. 

    Why can't I see the shipping method I want when placing my order online?

    Depending on your location, only those shipping options for your area/location will display.

    How soon will my order ship?

    Team Wendy’s hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST. ​The majority of orders received Monday through Friday by 3:00 pm EST will be processed the same day and will ship in 2 business days if items are in stock. Extended lead times may exist for some products, see specific product pages for more information. Orders received after 3:00 pm EST, on weekends or on holidays will be processed on the next business day and items will ship within 2 business days after being processed if items are in stock. See our Shipping Policy for more information.

    I need to return product for an exchange or refund. How do I do that?

    If you are not satisfied with your Team Wendy product purchase and purchased it on www.teamwendy.com, you may return it within 30 days of receipt of shipment. Returns will only be accepted if the item is unused, in its original condition and its original packaging. See instructions in Return Policy. Please note: If you purchased your item/s from a Team Wendy dealer (list of authorized dealers), you must contact them to coordinate the return/exchange, and their return policy will apply.

  • Do you sell helmets with retention systems for left-handers?

    Yes, we only offer this option on the EXFIL® Ballistic helmet.

    How can I find out what type of performance standards your helmets meet?

    This information can be found on each helmet page, or you can contact us via email or call 216.738.2518.

    If I’m in between sizes, what size EXFIL® helmet should I order?

    We recommend going up to the larger size. You can customize the fit with the comfort pads that are included with your helmet purchase. If more pads are needed, we sell additional comfort pad sets. Check under the appropriate helmet accessories page.

  • I need to wash my Team Wendy helmet liner pads. What’s the best way to do that?

    All of our liner system pads (EPIC™, EPIC Air™, Revolve™ and ZAP™) can be removed and hand washed with a mild soap, then (completely) air-dried before reinstalling. Do not wash in a washing machine.

    Will your helmet liner systems fit an OpsCore FAST helmet?

    All of our liner systems will fit the OpsCore FAST helmet, but typically require replacing the FAST retention system (chinstrap) as well, because it is integrated with the FAST liner. We recommend the EPIC™ or EPIC Air™ liner system and CAM FIT™ retention system. Most customers prefer this combination in the FAST shell. See our liner selection guide for more information.

    Will your helmet liner systems fit a Crye AirFrame™ helmet?

    ZAP™ and EPIC Air™ liner systems will fit a Crye Airframe™ helmet. See our liner selection guide for more information.

  • I need to replace the chin strap on my EXFIL® helmet. Will the ones you sell on your website fit?

    No. The liners and retention systems in all Team Wendy EXFIL® helmets are integrated, and cannot be replaced in the field. If your chin strap on a Team Wendy helmet needs replaced, please contact us via email or call 216.738.2518.

    Do you sell retention systems for left-handers?

    Yes, we currently offer as an option on the EXFIL® Ballistic helmet and on our CAM FIT™ retention system.

    Will your CAM FIT™ retention system fit my Crye AirFrame helmet?

    Yes, we make a CAM FIT™ that is compatible with most common shell types, including the following: See our retention systems page for sizing information.

    Will your retention systems fit my OpsCore FAST helmet?

    Yes, our retention systems fit the FAST helmets. However, the ballistic-rated hardware included in our CAM FIT™ and CAM FIT™ H-Back retention systems is not long enough to go through both the rail and shell. We recommend saving the hardware from the original system and using it to install the Team Wendy retention, or purchasing the CAM FIT™ ARC Rail Hardware Kit. See our retention systems page for this hardware kit and for retention sizing information.
