Jorge was a true public servant. A Firefighter, Paramedic and SWAT Officer, he was deeply passionate about training, caring for others, and becoming a better version of himself every day.

Background & Passion

My professional background spans business development, leadership, and philanthropy, but my greatest passion is to advocate for the law enforcement officers and first responders who dedicate their lives to serving and protecting others. That passion became my purpose following the loss of my husband, Jorge Pastore, who was killed in the line of duty during a SWAT hostage rescue call-out in southeast Austin.

Why Team Wendy

Team Wendy’s mission resonates with me on a profound level. When I saw Jorge’s helmet with a hole in it, I knew something had to change. Around that same time, Team Wendy was introducing RIFLETECH™, and from that moment on, it became both a responsibility and a passion of mine to help get these helmets on as many heads as possible.

This isn’t just about equipment, it’s about lives. Team Wendy represents innovation, protection, and a refusal to accept the status quo when more can be done. That mission aligns perfectly with my own.
